That sure should get the job done!

I recommend using a precision regulator at the engine bench end of the hose.

nice compressor Jim, Gils right about a good quality pressure regulator, the cheap ones wont be consistent & most wont go down to the low pressure levels we sometimes deal with or need.

Now you've done it ... major escalation in the "compressor wars" !    ;c)

Looks like a nice one Jim ... sure hope it is nice and quiet for you, and at that capacity, I'm sure it is good for any of your model and toy engines.

Congrats!!!

Thanks guys :)
Wow, its so quiet compared to my old direct drive one. No more ear muffs needed!

I did buy this with it, I haven't opened the package up as yet. Do you think this is suitable or get something better?

Finally have an air line to my steam room.

Been a couple of stinking hot days (come on Autumn !!!) but got the air line from my shed to under the house and then up through the floorboard to my desk.

Rebuilt an old vintage brass gas tap and using that so that I can turn the air off completely if I wish to.

Jim, that little brass airline valve looks perfect and likely works a treat, but I'm a bit concerned that your having a 2" valve plumbed to the displacement oiler on that MSM Pevensey might just be a bit of overkill ...   ;c)
