SOMEONE ELSE'S CHRISTMAS PRESENT TO ME
« on: December 22, 2019, 06:58:40 pm »
Thought I'd given myself enough of a Christmas present. Now I've just been given this.

Needs a lot of work, but is definitely repairable.

Nice Christmas gift. I can play it....

I would love to see it after you're done with it 😊👍

Got it all apart with no damage. Gentle heat, lots of WD-40, waiting between applications freed slides that hadn't moved in maybe 40 years.

Valves are dirty and somewhat worn, but not hopeless, I think.

Can't blow into it till it's been thoroughly cleaned, but it's beginning to look as if most of its problems are cosmetic....
