Got the new key on today so it`s done, have a neat one coming that is said to have come out of the RR station in Big Springs TX.
It even has a battery eliminator on it.
Also have a sounder and key coming.

Thanks Charlie.
This is a replica resonator box we made for the key and sounder that`s coming in a few days, they would wedge a tobacco can behind the sounder so it would make a different sound so the rr guy could tell which sounder was getting a message.

here`s a video showing one in use at 1:28

Nice set-up for sure .... I've never seen a Battery Eliminator either, but assume it must be some form of capacitor.

Who manufactured that sounder .... Wunel or something like that?

Are there any T&P markings on either the sounder or the key?

You ought to have some good fun with that one and your other set-up, you could string wires out to the shed and have a dinner call communicator!  ;c)

Thanks Daniel, the tag on the sounder says, W.V Tel. Co.
The batt eliminator says made by the Schauer machine Co.
Cincinnati Ohio.

Picked up a main line sounder and put it in the resonator.

Mounted two sounder on this board to look like they would be wired into the main line
