• Nothing big... water was high and moving fast (just downstream from the dam) so fishing was poor, but beautiful weather.

• Yes, they can fin you, but it's usually only a problem with smaller ones as they have sharper spines in their fins, as they get bigger/older they are pretty dull. A good trick is to rub their belly slime on the wound and the sting is gone almost instantly.

• Water is still high two weeks later, making for poor fishing and we sat in the rain for a couple hours today, but I ended up with the biggest catch this time
