Many of you no doubt saw this Doll Ferris Wheel on eBay recently. I put in a snipe bid and won by the smallest of margins.
The toy is in very good shape but is missing a few parts.
I hope to chronicle here a moderately successful restoration journey.

What happened to the "peanut riders"

Do you have any pictures of what the base paint is supposed to look like?
One of the most impressive accessories i´ve seen...
Well done and congratulations Scott !!!
Thanks guys. Much appreciated.
Nick -> for ideas on the base, here are some other 729/5s:

The base may be original paint. I cannot see that any re-paint or touch-up has been done anywhere on it.
Where the uprights meet the base look to be original.
That is really nice. I'm sure you'll be very happy with it.
Holy Cow Scott, just seen the sale price of the one in the December Pook & Pook auction
Well bought Scott.
Do you have the riders?
Do you have the top flags?

Thanks Charlie.
I have some spare parts from other "expendable" accessories... plotting and planning how best to do all this...
Well, finally decided to source some parts from this 729/2 Karusell. I needed the big driving wheel and the toothed gear.
Has to be a tough decision to make... will you try to copy the parts and bring the smaller one back someday?
