Holy Cow Scott, just seen the sale price of the one in the December Pook & Pook auction  :o  :o

You know... rite....!  Wasnt it $18 Grand or something like that?

I'll take offers   :D

 :D :D

Would be quite a profit!

In my dreams ;)

Never say never, but I doubt I'll part with this one.

I'll certainly be on the lookout for replacement parts.  I could probably make the flat gear... not so sure about the pot metal driving wheel.  A bunch of the Doll accessories have these two parts.

Have you thought about looking into 3D printing for that one?

Good Luck with the restoration. Antico Mondo had a reserve of 2500 Euro on the same complete model in 2018, and it did not sell, six month later the Pook sells similar for 18K, crazy world

Last Dec's Pook & Pook auction was nuts.

Speaking of the December Auction Scott, do you have that beautiful Doll Whip ride working?  Would love to see a video.

Good memory, Charlie.

Actually that Whip Around is in pieces wait on my restoration skills to improve  :o

Mine is nowhere near as nice as some we've seen recently.

With the JB Weld set, time to mix up some paint.

One coat on, we'll see if it really needs any more.

Making up a flag pole extension.

Turned up a M3 x 0.5 brass with a 2.2 mm socket for the flag itself.

Also needed one additional canopy support. Originals are right at 1/8" in diameter.

Painted all pieces with Humbrol Brass Metallic 54.

Some more progress.

Task was to mount the flags to a donor canopy.
