Eachine ET1 model engine no start

Hello Group,

I'm a retired Volvo mechanic that had a Eachine ET1 hit and miss model engine given to me that I can't start.
I see no movement of the passive intake valve on the intake stroke, so no air/fuel mix into the
cylinder, (spark good!)

I removed the cylinder head & with the palm of my hand over the cylinder there is good compression on the
compression stroke & good suction on the intake stroke,(so piston ring OK), but when the head is re-installed & spark plug removed,
I feel little compression or suction when my finger covers the spark plug hole when turning over the engine.
I assume with this engine design, there needs to be sufficient intake suction to pull open the intake valve?
I see nothing wrong with the valves so what gives?
Searching online, I see no replacement cylinder head available, any source for replacement parts?

Any advise welcome as I would like to get this little bugger running & use it as an educational platform for
my grandsons.

Gil even helped me a lot for one of them and learnt me what to check  ;)

If you have compression, a spark at top dead center and gas, the first thing to check is that gas arrives to the carburator when you obstruct it with a finger.

If so, open the needle valve only to 1/4 turn and use a drill to launch the engine. It is better to have a poor mixture at the beginning, even if it means enriching it, rather than drowning the spatk plug.

As I was saying, using an electric drill with adaptor to spin the engine, there is NO intake valve movement, (as you know,these little engines
use piston intake stroke vacuum to open the intake valve!)... so no air/fuel charge into cylinder for engine to run.
Also worth noting, the Exhaust valve timing is correct.

Sorry, I hadn't read accurately your message about the drill!

Personnally, I have not seen the input valves move on my engines, I guess because their displacement is very small. As you have compression, everything shouls be right

Even without the drill, do you feel a succion on the carburator when you turn the flywheel of your engine ?

And stupid question, just for fun, are you cranking your engine the right way? For information, I made this mistake on one of my first engines!

After a test run with your drill, did you check if the plug was wet ?

Did you try to start you engine with a drop of gas directly in the carburator ? Did you check if the hole in front of the needle valve is clean ? 

Starting my M92 has been a real pain and Gil helped me to fon the appropriate settings

I had also had this kind of problem with the M91 (vertical), and a friend had made me a special needle screw to fix the problem.
