Just out of interest how do you guys clean your rattle paint can nozzles? The directions have always said up end and spray clear but if you do a lot of small jobs there's not going to be enough propellent in the can to empty eventually.
I have a stack of working ones that I keep when I throw a can out so I can substitute when one becomes blocked.
I do the same, tip upside down to clear. Also have a stash of working tips and those little red straws for carb cleaner, etc.
I store my cans upside down, don’t know if it does any good, but someone told me to.
I ALWAYS twist the cap off (when I can) & spray a little disc brake cleaner through the nozzle , carb cleaner would work as well. And then gently put it back on.
I'll get a spray can of disc brake cleaner (that's something I have never owned) next time I'm in town and start using that then. Its damned annoying when they clog up.
If I'm not going to be using the paint in the near future, I try to spray some cleaner down the stem to help clear it of paint as well , its important to remember when your ready to use the spray can that you clear the solvent out by a quick blast off to the side of you project or you could get some ugly spots...don't ask me how I know 🤭

OK. How do you know? Sometimes I kind of like that orange peal, fish-eye look.
