Making a ceramic gas burner.

Hi,

I have just finished making a replacement burner for the Ellie steam tram built.



Today off to play trains with it across the boarder in England.

Very nice work which seems to have solved the problem. Could you show detail of the gas jet(s)/outlet under the block of ceramic? Thanks.

Hi,

Very nice work which seems to have solved the problem. Could you show detail of the gas jet(s)/outlet under the block of ceramic?

This is a photographs of the gas/air tube made from K&S 1/4" brass tube with one end cut at about 45 degrees

This photograph shows the tube soldered in place touching the inside of the burner with the cut angle at the bottom, the ceramic clears the tube by about 1mm, this isn't critical.
