I have that book as well and that engine design is really attractive.  You are doing an excellent job and I'm looking forward to further updates on your build!

Wish my shop was cool right now.

That’s some excellent machining that you are doing! I’m jealous that I don’t have the patience to do that. I limit myself to making some fittings and stuff. I just do things that don’t require really close tolerances. I do admire those of you that do it. I actually admire anyone that is good at their craft.
Best Regards

Hi again. Now that the weather is getting colder, I have done some more work on this engine. The steam cylinder is complete. It was quite a job doing the lagging, but it came out well. I also completed the connecting rod. The dual tapers were interesting to set up. I hadn't used my taper attachment in quite a while, so it was a learning experience! It came out well.
Now I need to work on linkages, etc. so I can have it done by the Cabin Fever Expo show in January.
Thanks for looking, Scott

Looking great, Scott!

I'll say it again... your machine work is superb!

Any chance we will see it at Cabin Fever?

Thanks, everyone.
I'm working away at it, but the honey-do list is still pretty long.;)
As long as there are no major glitches it should be ready for the show.

Hello everyone.

Here is some more progress on my engine.

I have spent quite a bit of time on the watts linkage, and I now have some motion to show!

Here are some pictures and a video.
