An 18" gauge tram returned to the rails after painting.

Hi,

In 1984 one of the trams that was made by the Whitchurch and District Model Engineering Society (now the Cardiff Model Engineering Society) and been borrowed by  Cardiff Transport Dept to display in a transport gala.  They had painted the tram in Cardiff colours and the video is of the trams return to Highfields its then home.  There is no road access to the site and unfortunately there is no video  of the tram being moved down the ramp access which would have been fun.

It was a long time ago the young drive and the young lady behind him are or son and daughter who have children of their own who are a lot older than they are on the video.

The video is very poor but hopefully found interesting.

Take care Tony.
