That really looks like it came out perfect!

I noticed that you ran it around the pulley many times. Were you advancing the carriage or cross slide a few thousands with every revolution, as you were continuing to cut?

Yes Daniel every second revolution around 2 thou.

I'm really happy how well this method worked and how relatively simple it was using a tap in the 3 jaw chuck. I made up some more different sized jigs and hobbed some more ali ad brass drive wheels yesterday afternoon.
