The BB's make such a difference Bruce. How did you find BB's the right size?
they are on eBay Jim , you can get flanged or unflanged , anymore I mostly use flanged type for the Jensen stanchions. the bearings are 3/8" od x 3/16" id x 1/8" thick, the #35's don't have enough material left over to mount bearings , so a lug must be soldered on 1st.

Thanks Bruce, of course you know where this is heading I want to copy your idea on some of my Jensen's.

If I have no luck finding them, I might bother you for some links.

I'd like to add them also to two Jensen genny's that I have and make them into BB gennys like that one that I bought off John who used to do them for Jensen.
Jensen #15 gennys are the best use of ball bearings , but they are tricking & Jensen quite doing them because the stanchions aren't even close to parallel & are very arduous in getting them set up properly.
good luck with "BB'ing" your next engine & I'd be happy to help anyway I can.
