Marklin 4172/1 Hot Air Engine

This was a recent acquisition; and it has been on my bucket list for a long time.

It is in immaculate condition.  The only thing I did was change out the two wicks and oiled everything.

I just love the look of this hot air engine!

Very nice and rare Märklin - congrats Charlie - I only have the electric version
it is more comfortable but less fun.

What a wonderful and rare piece you have there Charlie .... it is a treat just getting to see pictures, let alone videos of it running!
