Quality Brand B-31 and Empire Water Pumps
« on: September 14, 2019, 01:16:15 am »
Need to find a new home for the spare water pump, so thought I'd get a video of the pair in action before sending it away. Engine is a quiet runner and the accessories don't make much noise, so it turned out to be a fairly quiet video...

Nice video. Always hard when you part with something...or maybe to make room for a new addition?

Benny, I don't think there is such a thing as making any more room in my steam room...  :D  Only letting it go as it's a double and I have another pump built into a windmill too

I'm trying to remember if anyone has found a good replacement heater for these... unfortunately a new heater will probably double the cost of the engine.

Excellent video and set up Nick. Ironically, I got this exact engine in the mail today and it came from Wisconsin. 🤠

I have tried various options to no success
Thinking of maybe looking at converting to meths ?

They're a common enough engine and meths would be better than a pile of parts on the shelf...

I remember the late Jeffrey Bicht "46U", mentioning that he got a new heater for his B31 from Heat and Sensor.

Might be an option Dennis  :)
