I am rather ready for some levity and fellowship with good friends over steam engines & the like. And YES...some crispy Bacon....lots of crispy bacon 😁👌
Some time back now I put some maple syrup in whilst frying the bacon....it elevates bacon to another level!

Mmmmm....must try that 🤗
I believe that there are some companies that make Maple Cured Bacon, and as I recall, it is quite good.
Bacon wrapped shrimp for lunch then?!?!?

Bacon wrapped prawn for lunch then? Fixed

We caught a couple of kilo's of prawns the other night, never tried wrapping a couple in bacon.

I've only had it once, but it was surprisingly ...... HEAVENLY!
Doesn't seem like it would be a natural combo, but it definitely worked for my taste buds.
We used to wrap shrimp in bacon, drizzle a little BBQ sauce on them, cook in the oven and serve them at the bar in a restaurant I cooked in. I think I ate more than what went out to the customers 😂
Enjoy your 2nd Anniversary Celebrations one and all

😂 I’d be eating shrimp every night if I were you!
My record at the “Red Lobster” for “endless shrimp” is 210
Jeez! I don’t think I’m getting 200 of those suckers down!! 😂 That’s the size of the lobster tails they get $20 a piece for around here

Sorry Daniel, but I don’t know what that is, I get a Dr Pepper, no ice when I go out for shrimp

Have you tried abalone Nick? I like it, but I don't think its as high up there as everyone raves about.
If you don't get them off the rock quick the first go, they suck on pretty hard. You can only take them with a snorkel here, no scuba.

They're King Prawns, depending on the size there would be about 15-20 to a kilo and in the seafood shops would be about $35 to $45.00 a kilo depending on the season.
No Thanks
About a $130+ per kilo.
I've cooked 'em all the different ways and still can't work out why they are so highly rated.
