Nice to see this Tony, i'm pleased to report my Eagle is still running very well. In fact i managed to sink Mr Crammond's Old Trafford paddle steamer at this years STIA with it!!
Fine looking restoration and also the recreation.
Brought back from the brink, and added a new steamer to the ponds of life ... NICE!!!
Hi,
The next exciting instalment of playing with Bowman Eagles has been edited; as the internet connection in the camping field we are on until early next week is extremely problematical it will not be posted until we return home.
Regards Tony.
Those definitely clip right along showing a good turn of speed.
Must have been quite a lot of work just putting the video together from all of those stills and video segments, not to mention the wonderful work of the builds themselves.
Very impressive building all of that from scratch with somewhat minimalist techniques to achieve such superb results!
I finally got around to watching the videos. Well done, Tony!
And I'm pleased to see that you thrived in foreign climes....
Hi Bob,
And I'm pleased to see that you thrived in foreign climes....
We have returned to foreign climes several times in the last few weeks to work on exhibits for a science centre shortly to be opened in Oxford. Today we return across the water (Severn Estuary) back to South Wales taking with us home work in the shape of drawings and 3D printed parts to be assembled into some sort of electrical exhibit. I suspect we will be back in 'Merry Olde England' late next week with a hopefully complete exhibit. I found the 3D printing fascinating with incredible accuracy in assembly.
I took some video and photographs which when times permits I will post.
Take care.
Tony.
