Putt-Putt tender
« on: December 07, 2021, 09:13:37 am »
Well, my yachts need a proper tender to lay the buoys for the regatta courses... ::)

So here my little putt-putter - maker unknown. Perhaps Germany, 1940s???

I wanted to see more...

Deck and hull separated easily, very simple lay-out and design inside:

You can see the little "slide-in" rest for the burner.

Some cleaning, inside...

...and outside (plus a makeshift stand):

Time for a test run...

Cleaned up nicely :)
Hope we get to see a little movie of it "at sea", when you do the live test.
Cheers

Well, I usually have a bath once a year and as this year is approaching its end, there is a certain chance... ;)  :D

underneath the boat house - sorry I have only a China clone
but it is okay - just for fun ;D  ;D

Thanks a lot, Arnold! Nice illustration - but I will stick to using a syringe...

Your put-put is also made of rather thin sheet-metal (for obvious reasons!).  This makes my old tender quite extraordinary.

Somebody has suggested Sutcliff (GB) as a possible maker, but I am doubtful...
