No worries mate, I believe the reversing linkage was modified in the 60's. The earlier style is not as robust as the later solid brazed tabs..but when the earlier (delicate) reversing levers are correct, they have a lighter operating style that I like better.

Thanks Bruce, I can't remember seeing one with this linkage.
Hi Jim, Jensen 55s were made with the flat spring were made this way from the introduction in 1947 to, as Bruce stated, likely sometime in the late 1960s.
