Kontax Nano Disc

Been meaning to buy one of Kontax's high temp models for some years and i finally took the plunge and bought their Nano disc model with the tungsten piston. I was attracted to this model because it operates differently to a normal Stirling engine. I have to say i'm really impressed with it and it is one of the smoothest engines i've had the pleasure to run. I like the fact you can reverse it with a flick of the flywheel too! ;D

It was also great value for money and the build quality is superb, plus you got a free glass dome to display it in which was a lovely bonus. I had it custom engraved too.  ;)

Very proud these are still made right here in England and i don't think it will be my last high temp model from Kontax!!  ;D

I don't think I've ever seen a stirling with a vertical shaft.
If I had the storage space... And the money... I'd have a few more engines.

That was the other reason I was drawn to this model.  ;D
