I acquired this neat 4 cylinder gas engine model at the Coolspring Power Museum Show.

In the video below you will see a quick start-up. It's finicky and requires very gentle corrections to the mixture.
There is a learning curve and I am learning that curve.

I don't know the right name but Jeff Connor, an experienced builder, thinks it is a Weichert although I can't find anything on such an engine.

Crazydoug got a V-Twin of similar construction from the same seller.

Working the kinks out of that one ought to keep you busy for a bit!

Certainly not as "Kinky" as it seemed in the first video!

Think I'd replace that little thumb screw with a larger knurl-headed screw, perhaps even with a tensioner spring, so that it isn't quite so touchy in adjustment.
