I have machining background either so all a learning curve for me too, as is the model engine thing.

Never heard of Bob Herder, thanks for the tip, i'm looking for a new project and i see a few interesting things there, doubt they would ship half a ton of iron all the way to the UK though 

Your engine looks really good, can you post a video when you have her running please?

Until I get this running, here is a video of the 1st one i built last year. I didn't intend to build 2, but a friend really wanted to buy it, so i still needed one for myself!
