I am sorry to hear you are having trouble, Raphael! The loss of compression could be caused by your valve issue( which I don't quite understand, but a pic of it would help-as you say a picture is worth 1000 words indeed).
I hope you have contacted Jin already. He has always responded quickly when I have messaged him through forum PM.
