Author Topic: Cleaned up the Jensen #50 that sold Friday on Ebay  (Read 3607 times)

Apart from the slight wrinkling on the smoke stack support, that has to be the nicest black paint job I have seen on any Jensen engine. They must have sprayed an extra coat or two on at the factory  8)

That boiler really makes me want rivets in my 50's boiler  8)  8)

Some of the best preserved engines are actually neglected in a favorable environment.

That,....is a beautiful engine! I never realized how nice those Big Jensen s  are. Areal, functional governor and water pump. Nice! Thanks for the great photos. Wow! Thanks for sharing😊

Hi Gil,

I have been very distracted of late with a big railroad project, but thought I better check in on the forum and was pleasantly surprised to see this gorgeous 50 you have carefully and beautifully cleaned up and got running.  It is even nicer looking than the one I once had that you helped get new heaters installed.  They are surely marvelous machines and all have one know this!!
