Before I got through your story I was about to say you should look for a damaged sheet… I only needed 2’x3’ of some paneling and found a 4’x8’ sheet with one little corner busted off (maybe 1”x2”) and they gave it to me for like $3, but looks like you got the better deal 😂

Ya, I was a bit "wordy" with my story but I think I had the effect I was looking for (readers think "you couldn't have done X").  Then getting getting to the "Mic Drop" part of the story then the reader realizes "hmm, that was a good deal".  LOL :-)
