Awesome finds Gil!! Glad you got the whistle back with the engine, I’ve had to make extra purchases in the past too to get the correct parts.
Thanks Nick! I have made additional purchases before.

However, I have never before paid double what the parts engine was worth.

The main thing is the whistle is now reunited with it's proper engine.

The 1950s #25 it came off of will be sold for a partial recovery.

Wilesco D20 Black & White Special Edition Steam Engine
I bought this off German eBay around 10 years ago when overseas postage was still fairly reasonable. The seller didn't know much about it and was selling it for his father. It was fairly play worn when received, but still in very good condition.

I soldered one back together for a friend who didn't know the water jacket on this one is filled through the chimney.
