We will start out with a few pictures of it in as received condition which was overall very good.
To begin with it is a spectacular build and I wish I knew who built it.
Then you will see it cleaned up and polished a bit
and finally... Cleaned and tuned... There will be a video demonstration on air.
Enjoy!
Gil

Looks like a very good quality build, and it already looks pretty clean, so I'll be waiting to see how much better it can look after you work your magic.
Here some pictures of it cleaned up and polished but not yet finished.
Final finishing will have to wait.
Enjoy!

The Brass sure does shine Gil , nice work on that one.

You can see where I have added a brass steam line.
Enjoy,

Now looks like it fully belongs in the amazing room, as it too is an amazing engine!
Hi Gil,
A well made engine and you did a wonderful job cleaning it it up. This might interest you if you have not seen one its the compound version of your engine.
Many years ago I started to make this engine and then stopped something to do with getting married, buying a house, starting a business children the usual story. After about ten years it was resurrected from store with the intension of finishing it, it was a bit rusty but before I started on it someone offered what I thought was a lot of money and as I wasn't exactly flush at that time I sold it. The engine on top of it is a Blackgates 'V' twin oscillator which I still have.

Hello Gil,
A feast for the eyes. I can imagine when you stand in front of the machine, you do not know where to look first. A very neat job.

Hi Tony, Thanks for the picture of the compound Clarkson. I have a nice Simple Twin version and I have seen a couple pictures of a compound which I likely would have bought if it were priced better. Now I have no idea where it went.

Gil, I am glad you ended up with this beauty; It’s very well made. It sold for half its value too, congratulations

Thank you. I sold one similar a few years ago for 3500.
Needless to say I am quite pleased with this one.
