OUCH Lenn ..... that stuff does look heavy .... like real heavy wet stuff !
We've just been getting an inch or so of light powdery stuff every couple of days, so no real accumulation with only a couple of inches showing in the shady spots on the ground. Got perhaps 1/8th of an inch during last night, should be gone by afternoon.
I'll not want to trade you just now my friend, but I will offer you my sympathy and a good thought for successful removal without hurtin' yourself any too much!!!
Wow, Lenn, we don't get that kind of snow anymore thank goodness - ours comes 2-3 inches at a time with a 12" maybe once a winter. Hope you don't overdo it cleaning it off the roofs and driveway.
Thanks fellers, ya this wet stuff is tough it rained a little first that made it heavier yet.
Well could be worse, poor Santa has to travel the world in it.
I don’t know how you guys can live through the winters up in Minnesota! It gets to cold here in Pennsylvania and it’s a lot colder up there. I couldn’t live anywhere that they have electrical outlets on the parking meters for the engine block heaters. It is pretty though! I want to move a little more south. The older I get the less tolerance I have for winter. I’m hoping to move to Edenton North Carolina in the next few years. My wife’s father has a vacation house down there and wants to there full time when he retires again. I’m hoping we go along with him. Great pictures!
Thanks John hope ya get your wish.
Some day i`ll mount a snow blower on the hood of a truck and drive south until someone asks me what the heck is that.
Great pictures Lenn !
Being a big fan of snow and winter myself, it looks completely amazing to my eye.
To me, having a frozen white landscape during the winter, highly enhances the sensation when spring sets in...instead of the rain and mud we´ve usually been experiencing for the last few decades now.
That said, i can completely understand where you´re coming from, with regards to all the hassle it brings as well.
Thanks Jan, oh i love winter it`s these storms that tax us but we get through it somehow.
All the city people go home and there`s no four wheeler`s tearing up and down the road, peace and quiet is wonderful.
Gotta love it Pitchy, gotta love it.
Thanks John, sun is out today so better yet.
