Hi mates, I am looking for a Jensen 50 stack and a power cable. Please contact me if you have any or know of a source. Thanks
Sorry I can't help Mike, but this is from Rog. By the way, new purchase or fixing up one you already had?
Simplest job of all Marc and the first thing I did, the chimney is nothing other than a 1.25 inch nickel plated brass drain tube for under a sink, found at my local ACE hardware. It had a curved part (trap) on one end and I just cut it to the proper length removing the trap part, then flared the top end of the cut pipe using the head of a large ball peen hammer tapping the flat part of the hammer with a piece of two x four lumber.
In less than 15 minutes I had a regulation size Jensen 50 chimney
I wish all repairs or replacements could be so easy!
Rog
A power cord is well.....a power cord , they weren't special made for Jensen.
Power cord depends on age to a degree.
Cloth or rubber?
Pigtails for heaters or the long cord?
If this is for the #50 from Nick and Ellen Low you need a black rubber power cord.
Here is a similar #50 from 1979:

Nick, Bruce, & Gil, thank you all for the reply. Yes it’s for the 50 that returned home to the US. I thought that these parts could be obtained from Jensen since they are no different than the newly offered ones. I contacted Jensen a month ago; they mentioned that they have it, and asked to wait for a phone call which never came. Now I see their announcement and I understand the situation. I was trying to outsource from Jensen to get original parts. Yes Gil, it’s the long rubber cord.
I e been waiting almost 3 years for a part for my Jensen 50. I’m starting to think it may never happen.
Mike, Jensen no longer sells the correct cord and plug for your late 70's #50.
The cords with plugs they now provide are 3 wire with a ground post.
This is what the cord should look like:
(without the cracks, of course)
I replaced it with a cord purchased from a hardware store and a plug from a place that has lamp restoration parts and supplies.
