Hornby tin plate locomotive No.3435
« on: August 14, 2023, 09:01:09 am »
Hi,

This coming weekend I am exhibiting at a model toy show in Birmingham (UK). I bought a tin plate toy train to run on the track of my table and I found that its wheel flanges were too deep for my track so I had to make them smaller.

Take care. Tony.

That is a speedy engine. Surprised it doesn't run off the track. Well done.

It is rather amazing that it doesn't go airborne around those tight curves at that speed!

Seems it could use one more reduction gear set in its drive system in order to tame its wild enthusiasm?!?!

Nice job of modification and maintenance in any case.
