Bonjour Tonyn
Great job indeed, I hope your wife shares your somewhat invasive passion with you ;D

Great progress Tony, you'll be running again soon, no doubt!

Hi Raphael,

I am very fortunate in that respect especially as the garden is my wifes domain.

Take care Tony.

Hi Daniel,

Great progress Tony, you'll be running again soon, no doubt!

Alas there will now be a bit of a delay, in two weeks time our exhibition model railway is at a show in the Midlands and a fortnight later a show in North Wales. This morning I had a phone call to tell me that an operation that I have been wait for on one of my hands can be done next Tuesday! As I don't know how much effect this will have on what I can do; fortunately if push comes to shove my wife is capable of driving our motorhome with a trailer attached. She is not too keen on driving the rig on the narrow winding roads of North Wales but that is a month away and its mostly motorways to the show in the Midlands. In the meantime I am preparing the layout and stock for the Midland show, I have never been ready so early! Though I haven't started yet!

Take care Tony.

I certainly know how life has a way of scheduling things to interfere with any plans one foolishly makes and tries to accomplish!

Best of luck with the procedure on your hand Tony, I truly hope it is nothing too serious!

I've had four hand surgeries in this life so far, and they pretty well shut me down for rather longer than shorter periods, sadly all to little or no avail, so I'll likely just live with it from here on out.

Have fun at your shows, but don't over-do and compromise your healing!!!
