I accomplished a couple of my goals by getting some additional runtime on the engine and carriages and by actually creating a video which I was a little leery of since it's been two or three years since I did one. Also learned a couple of things including the fact I need a better camera for video and that the carriages need additional weight to track better. I'm looking forward to next spring when it will be time to readjust the layout for level and to perhaps replace the sagging 12' span ( two 2x4 with no load sagging..........ridiculous! ) with a truss bridge, or just another support, and to upgrade the track alignment at the hinged gate with a more positive device. Geoff Munday at Lightlines lined the engine - don't have any closeups of my own but here are a couple he sent me.
