Thanks Jan, & quite the patriotic engine above.
I'm just getting ready to start filling the inflatable slide with water...after I plug the blower in, expect 10 people with children for a fun day of watching the kids play in water, BBQ'ing & fireworks on the lawn at dusk.
Thanks Jan it's nice that you appreciate the importance of our celebration.
Thanks, Jan...!!!
Happy 4th to you as well.
Gil
Thanks Jan! We celebrated last night at Grandma’s farm. All my cousins and aunts/uncles were there including 17 kids under the age of 8. This was our first full get-together since Christmas 2019 as the whole family only gets together on the 4th and Christmas, but Grandma cancelled those last year. Lots of food, did some target shooting and lit off well over a thousand dollars in fireworks in what seemed like only a few minutes 😂

Thanks, Jan!
We had our celebration yesterday with family and close friends. Lots of good food and drinks, rides in one of my Model T Fords, trying to catch potatoes launched from my potato cannon, Blongo Ball and Cornhole games, and we wrapped it all up with some Tesla coil music and fireworks, which were apparently so good that someone called the Police to tell them how good they were!😁
Thanks, Jan!

You know you’re having fun if the cops show up!😂
Certainly sounds and looks like you guys had fun with family and friends
@jkbixbyLarry, 4th. of July usually is pretty well covered here in Denmark by the press.
Not many Danes without family in the US, albeit my own connection is pretty far fetched these days.
In fact, just 30 miles south of here, the single largest official celebration of the American Indepence Day outside the USA, has been held every year since 1912.
(Besides 1940-45, since Adolf Hitler didn´t seem to approve all that much, when it came to celebrating the US during the occupation.)
These days there´s usually around 2-3000 people attending, but in the years right after WWII as many as 50000 people was participating.
Thanks Jan, I never realized there were celebrations outside the USA - glad to hear this.
