Hi,
The bits of a model steam engine found in a biscuit tin are now a running twin cylinder oscillating engine. The model will run quite well, the cylinder with off-set ports performing better than expected. The engine will self-start on only a few pounds of pressure, it will run quite slowly given its small but heavy disc cranks. It is a very powerful engine at 10 PSI roughly 20 to 30 PSI if it was steam the engines connecting rod can inflict serious damage to fingers, I wonder why I know that? The latest part of my efforts can be seen at:
Other projects call, so finishing the cosmetics and fittings will be put on a back burner for completion at a later date, it will also give a bit of thinking time as to what they will consist of. I will probably put together an abridged version of the videos for those who have trouble going to sleep. I hope you have enjoyed my efforts and muses.
Take care Tony.
