Often wondered how it was done-------excellent
Nice jig and easy to build. What size of dowel did you use?

They are lollipop sticks on a Jenga block
Excellent jig.
What do you use for such fine bands?
Looks like a fine jig to me Pete.
Pretty darn clever idea Pete.

One end is usually tapered and you simply screw it into the other end of the spring. To prevent them from "unscrewing" put a couple twists counter-clockwise in the spring before screwing together.
If both ends are the same size, simply bend some hook/loops in each end so they can be hooked together.
Great idea. It will certainly replace one of my wife's duties- i always get her help to do that!
crazydoug
Bruce many thanks for that
Aren't you clever Pete - well done!
Wouldn't go that far.
Its a simple and elegant solution Pete.
