You certainly did have a full weekend. I had an uncle who was a dairy farmer, and he worked in the shop.
Cow's came first, the shop, come home to the cows everyday.
Those pumps are looking sweet.

I like traveling too much to keep your schedule!

There was an old dairy farmer near us that supposedly never slept in a bed. He would milk cows and take short naps sitting on his stool out in the barn.

I suppose the next thing to make is the  &*^$&* flywheels
I think they have curved spokes  and then a water test

Great progress there Dennis, well done!

...and yup, curved spokes  ;D

In hindsight you could have aimed for the square reservoir model to avoid that...but then the base/reservoir most likely would have been more troublesome?

I think the squareish reservoir  would not be to much problem
I would start with round brass tube and a steel former then silver solder a base inside .

Plan B

We have a central hub with 5 holes drilled.
A outer ring with 5 holes on a angle
And 5 rods bent by eyechromotor

[ Guests cannot view attachments ]

Insert rods through rim

[ Guests cannot view attachments ]

Silver solder then some trimming on lathe

Are they perfect ? NO
Are they acceptable? Still thinking

That's some clever outside the box thinking there Dennis.
I reckon with some Dremel cleaning up they will look pretty good mate.
