Here's a tour of my small work shop/shed. When you have a small shed its like a boat, you don't waste a square inch of space and all nooks and crannies get utilized!

Jim, I am in awe...you take "organized" to the next level and beyond.  Love the segregation of dusty/messy stuff to the outer area where the dust and smells can escape.

very interesting Jim, I don't think I've seen a twin wheel buffer/wire wheel machine before, & in looking at how you used up every inch of space I was surprised that the "mounted fish" was allowed its valuable spot on the wall....lol. do you have any problem with the salt air rusting your outdoor tools ? I didn't see any sign of rust. here in Indiana with our distinct 4 seasons...an outdoor workspace would be a very temporary situation, you are fortunate there....but I imagine in the summer its brutal to work outside for very long. thanks again for a look about your shop, very nice of you.

The outdoor area I use 365 days a year, its never too cold....but can get a bit too warm

And no snow to bury anything

After seeing and hearing Lenn walking around and crunching snow Nick in his balista vid.......I can't even imagine what it must be like to have snow everywhere like that!

It's better than the flooding we've been having lately  rain almost everyday and water in my basement twice. Had about 2-3 inches down there a couple weeks ago

Nick basements are something that just no one has in Australia and it makes sense here because they would be cooler.

Yes, there is easily a 40-50 degree difference between my basement and upstairs in the summer time. First time I've had water in it as I keep a sump pump hooked up year-round, but we've had way more rain than any year I can remember.

I doubt that a basement would work for you in any case Jim, based on where you're located. It seems likely you'd run into more water than you could possibly deal with in the first half dozen feet down.

Yes not far at all to the water table here Daniel. The trees certainly take advantage of it and we had a bore pipe sunk down to water lawn, shrubs flower and vege gardens. Fresh water without a trace of salt even being just 10 metres from ocean water, a slight sulfur smell though. The bore driller who sunk the bore said that sand was the best filter and even salt can't get through, I was skeptical, but he knew what he was on about

That's a great shop Jim - I can't even begin to imagine how long it took to get everything just where you wanted it.........but you did. I envy you for the outdoor workspace - it surely must be nice to grind and paint and sand in the clean outdoor air without the fumes and dust that tend to work a hardship on someone like me me with asthma.
