Thanks guys, I am glad you like it.
As it stands it is really just for show although it does create a modest amount of sawdust and given enough hours of running would probably cut all the way through the log - any weight on the blade does however cause it to dig in and stall, a finer blade would be more suitable to cut realistically .
It will run with a less powerful engine, I have here an earlier video with the saw in its unfinished state and powered by a Mamod based portable which is a recent creation:
