I watched these movies, as soon as i got the notification from your channel on my phone, and once again when i arrived back home from work, just to get all the details on the big screen.

Amazing looking and very nicely running engine this, with just one downside as i see it.... Now i want one of these as well

Great show Bruce, thanks for sharing !
Cheers

Nice engine for a good price.

Alan ,I'm sure yours is probably made from the same company and probably a co-op as well oh, that is a very good price.

Lol...Jan,Larry ,I need to Branch out into another hobby like I need an empty wallet, these are a lot of fun and a little bit smelly, I'm going to make some kind of two prong attachment for my drill to start it because they are a little hard starting initially, once warmed up they will fire right up with a flick of the wrist.
I will update this post as I get more running time on it.

yes definitely,(exhaust smell) especially if you run it to rich, I ran it in the house for about 30 seconds to show Ang I got it working good...then back outside it went, even in my closed shop 15-20 minutes was enough to make a noticeable stink with some eye irritation. i was asked some questions about it from a you-tube viewer & this was my reply...... "it really only has one speed ,you can lean out the carb or make it more rich & change the speed somewhat, I am still learning how to operate it but I found about 1/2 turn counter clockwise from completely closed helps it to start (a rich position) then when it warms up you can adjust the carb knob back to not quite a1/4 turn, it also helps to squeeze the fuel line right under the carb (before starting) seems to act like a primer bulb & definateley helps cold starts. there is no on/off label for the switch, but mine is (looking from the back) switch to the right is on".
i'm going to experiment on different types of gasoline & see what it prefers. i'll get back on here when I know anymore. i also intend on making a  miniature roll around cart for it.

Thank you Bruce, you've answered a lot of my questions within your videos. I am very interested in one, but I think the prices of these may be on the rise for awhile... still a low price compared to the alternatives...

That runs really well Bruce, i can see why they are popular. I've often looked at the Red Wing models and those Maier gas engines, seems you got a good deal with that engine.

Bruce, do you have to run it on gasoline, or would something like Zippo lighter fluid be adequate and maybe smell less???  I'm going to need some guidance on fuels as I see various mixes talked about including addition of WD-40, Coleman camp fuel etc.

I would think that Coleman fuel (white gas) would likely be the best bet, as it is essentially "pure" gasoline without any additives, and specifically intended for burning in places where people and foodstuffs would be exposed, thus producing a minimum of exhaust fume odors.

I'm very open to alternative fuels as well, Coleman fuel  sounds real good and I will give it a try this weekend , I think WD40 might be a tad expensive.
