Sorry it took so long posting this just got a new computer last night.
Took a shot at making a rocket man.

Thanks Nick and Dave, doesn`t match up to the original but at least it worked.
It`s heavy all steel construction.

No worries about that Lenn, like Bruce said, I would rather have your's too! And I do not believe that the "original" I posted is even original or worth anywhere near the asking price...

That is very impressive Lenn, much more fun than an aeolipile!!

I think the blue burner flames make a nice effect as it goes around, i like the ball on the other side, i was thinking a planet with a ring would look quite cool. ;)

Thanks Swift Fox, took a while find a ball that wound work ended up using the top of a kids gum ball machine, the weight is inside is the weight shown in the first vid.
It levels when the boiler and burner are filled.

Turned out real good Lenn - very impressive. Just out of curiosity what kind of bearing did you use at the top pivot - maybe just pointed needle?

Thanks yep just a pointed tip on it but a deep hole so it can`t fly off.
