Steam powered drill press (Hamilton #1 sensitive drill press)
« on: August 14, 2022, 08:39:56 pm »
A PM Research #4 (I mistakenly call it a #3. In the video) steam powered drill press, high quality & works very well, weighs 85.8 lbs., 21 1/4" tall ,19" long x 8" wide. flywheel is 7" Od x 1 5/8" wide. I found out lately that it's a Hamilton #1 sensitive drill press.

You bet I got excited Charlie , when I set up early for my show I'm usually there when the vendors are setting out their wares , I spotted this (complete w/motor) sitting on the seller's tailgate, he had a tag of $35 on it and while just checking it over real fast he said " I'll take $30 for it"...I bought it instantly 😄

Bruce, please tell me that those are typos and there should be an extra zero before where the decimal point is supposed to be ..... you know, $350 and $300, not $35 and $30.
