I miss him, too!
He was a very genuine person and he added a special dimension to our hobby (along with some very nice accessories).


As you all can imagine, I was painfully aware of the odds against finding these two large pieces. I believe the big ones were specifically designed and built for the Jensen 50 and I believe they were all nickel plated. I have 2 different small examples and like everyone else, I will keep them. They are not plated and will remain unplated. I do recall a set changing hands a long time ago. and I know of one that changed hands with the #50 that IndianaRog restored when Saint Paul Steam passed it on to a fellow collector here in Connecticut. Needless to say that one is also not available.


All said, it is worth asking..... ya never know!

That chuff pot in the video was commissioned by me through Geoff , I built a mock up scale model (Geoff asked me to do that) and we exchange many pm's back & forth over several months time with some adjustments made over that time , Geoff told me it was the largest chuff pot he made at the time (I think it still is) Geoff asked me if I wanted a chuff enhancer (he & Glenn ...XL chainsaw were experimenting with them at the time) I told Geoff I'd pass ,as it added $75.00 to the price & I had no experience with such a thing , well Geoff included one anyway (for free) and after receiving the completed chuff pot set-up & putting it to work I realized rather quickly that it was more than just a nice accessory but  well tuned to the specific needs of the Jensen #50 it was made for. As I recall Geoff wanted the bore & stroke info on the #50. A couple months before he passed Geoff gave me the specifics to the chuff enhancer Glenn  & he came up with (he gave most of the credit for the chuff enhancer to Glenn) & gave me permission (& encouraged) me to build the chuff pots , the pm's  are on the mamod forum site , obviously I have not done so , but right up until his dying days he was helpful & a real "mate" I am starting to get emotional now & must finish this message.
Ps, to put a little smile on your face, Geoff used to ask me at least every other month were the video was of the comparison test I did with the chuff enhancer in & then removed as a sales tool for potential customers for his chuff enhancer. (It was kinda hard to find on YouTube)
