Bassett Lowke Super Enterprise pulling Jep coaches.
« on: August 19, 2021, 06:54:54 pm »
My surgery on Tuesday went well, and today I got out my Bassett Lowke Super Enterprise and 3 of my 4 Jep French coaches for a run.  I would love to run my LGB/Aster Frank S, but its just to heavy to lift at the moment.  I can manage the lightweight O gauge with a couple trips to the layout from where I keep them.  Plenty of power pulling the 3 coaches, should have no problem with the 4th once replacement wheels come for it(zinc pest issues).  Enjoy!

What an impressive runner! Not at scale speed. though... ;D

And I agree, a very realistic impression of a steam train!

Love steam engines, especially older German made.  Love the more clockwork style.  Addicted to this stuff!

That’s a great layout! I’ve considered getting into steam trains, but for now I just enjoy yours.
