Wish I had the rest from Great-grandpa’s sale, there were 15+ two and three bottom plows in better/complete condition and nearly all of them went to the scrap man at the auction in ‘05 :-\
This reminds me of my own Grandma's farm auction , I must have been about 15 and my cousin was 13 , we decided that we could afford the old Case DC tractor as it was hovering around $35-$40 (scrap price) must have been around 1977 , well...we started bidding on it and was carrying the bid up to $50 when my uncle turned around and realized what we were up to & then came over to us and quickly told us to STOP bidding on the tractor. We never put any though into where we were going to store this as the farm was being sold as well...our young brains didnt think that far into the future 🤔😄👍
